Set in Abergele, on the gorgeous north coast of Wales, this resort is really handy for seaside towns like Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Llandudno, all with wonderful beaches, funfairs and shops.

You can stay in one of four grades of fully equipped caravan holiday homes, or as an alternative, there are touring pitches and camping facilities for tents. For an extra charge your pets are allowed to stay when touring, or in a bronze grade caravan.

Whichever you choose, be prepared for lots of excitement and activity. Splash in the indoor pool, with its flume, hydrodomes and kayaks, or kick a football about in the all weather sports court. Have a go at archery, track and field, or become a cheerleader. There’s more than enough to do for all the family. The little ones have an indoor soft play area or can listen to songs and stories or have their faces painted in Little Sparks Club, or it’s just a ten minute walk if you want to spend some bucket and spade time on the beach.

On the resort there’s Park Mart Store for all your needs. There’s also the Fisherman’s Wharf Fish & Chip Shop, bar meals at the Farmhouse Inn, or meals at the Rendezvous Diner, which does takeaway as well.
In the evenings there’s a full programme of entertainment, including bingo, fancy dress and talent shows, along with performances by the resort’s Teamstars.

North Wales has a lot to offer for great days out. The Welsh Mountain Zoo, in Colwyn Bay, has pandas, camels, monkeys, bears, birds, reptiles and children’s farm animals. At Rhyl Miniature Railway visitors of all ages can enjoy a train ride on Britain’s oldest miniature line. There’s also a museum and a cafe back at ‘central station’.

In the peak season the small but brilliant Knightly’s Fun Fair s just a short walk from Ty Mawr Holiday Park.
Another very worthwhile place to visit is Conwy Castle and the classic walled town of Conwy From the battlements of the castle you look out to views of the mountains and sea, and the town itself could be out of a fairy story.

You’ll take home some happy memories at the end of your stay in lovely North Wales.
