With beautiful beaches and stunning sea views of the Yorkshire Wolds nearby, Barmston Beach Park Resort is a wonderful holiday destination for your family holiday.
With plenty to do and see this park offers visitors a great range of static caravan holiday home accommodation. With Gold Plus, Gold, Silver & Bronze standards to choose from these comfy, spacious caravans come equipped with everything you’ll need for a happy holiday. The difference in the accommodation grades are reflected in the furnishings, fixtures & fittings and vary in price accordingly. Book the Bronze grade caravan and you can even bring your family pet. The Accessible Caravans are for those that use wheelchairs or have mobility needs, and have access ramps and wider sliding doors.
The entertainment facilities on site at Barmston Beach are excellent, with something for everyone to keep busy on their holiday. Whizz down the slide and splash about in the heated outdoor pool (open from 21st May through to 3rd September), or give one of the water sports a go. The sea scooters sessions are great fun and get you to complete underwater challenges including The Wide Arc and The Corkscrew, and then you get to learn about Blading. The hydrodomes are harder than they look, as you try to stay upright and water on the water. There’s also snorkelling and the team games to enjoy, such as volleyball and water polo. For the younger ones aged 2+, there are Aqua Totz sessions that help build their confidence and have fun in the water.
When you and the family have finished getting wet, there’s plenty more on offer. The Track & Field events were introduced especially to celebrate the UK’s Olympic year. With fun, and serious, events to compete, will you be a champion? The kids will love the adventure playground and there is a soft play area for children under 5, where they can run, jump and enjoy the obstacles. The kids clubs are popular too. The Little Sparks is suitable for under 5’s with music, dance and play sessions, while the 5-11 year olds can join Sparky’s Krew for crafts, competitions, sports, games and more. The Triple ‘A’ Afternoons get the family involved with some fun games and activities such as Knock Your Block Off and the Retro Sports Day, or you can join the Ready Steady Bow sessions and help save the planet from a crazy alien invasion, or taking part in a deep sea rescue! And, if that’s not enough to keep you all busy, there’s the all weather sports court, darts and pool to have a go at too.
Once the sun has gone down, why not head over to the Sands Tavern for a delicious dinner with the family. Offering a range of traditional favourites, as well as more healthy dishes, there’s bound to be something for even the fussiest of eaters. You’ll find highchairs, a separate children’s menu and a bottle warming area here too. If you fancy just a quick bite then you can grab a take-out and eat at your chosen accommodation, or visit the on-site shop, where you’ll find all your food and non-food essentials, and prepare a meal to eat in. Visitors will also find other convenient facilities on the park, including a Costa Coffee kiosk, launderette and Wi-fi access areas (which incur a small charge).
The evening entertainment at Barmston Beach offers some sparkling top-class acts, from comedians to cabaret, bands to games and competitions, theme nights and shows, all right there on the park, so grab a seat in the Showbar and settle down for an evening of fun-packed thrills and laughter.
