Hoburne Doublebois Holiday Park

This Park offers accommodation in a range of one, two, or three bedroomed, comfortably appointed lodges in which you can spend a pleasant evening watching TV or a DVD, or relaxing on the sundeck with a drink. There is no clubhouse on this Park, but after spending the day playing golf on the nine hole, 3-par course, playing crazy golf or tennis, following the nature trail, or in the fitness room, you will very likely appreciate a quiet and restful evening.

For those just wanting a base from which to explore the area there are just slightly more basic chalets with most of the same comforts, but no sun decks.

There is a laundrette on the Park and a local food delivery service. You can hire some golfing equipment, but are advised to take your own and no sharing of equipment is permitted, as it can hold up play. Children under seven are not allowed on the golf course, but there is an adventure playground and a games room to help keep them amused.

If you like to fish for game, there’s the nearby River Fowey, and fishing is available during the normal fishing season with the usual regulations, and requiring a licence for salmon and trout.

Hoburne Doublebois is near the town of Liskeard, in Cornwall. There’s a traditional weekly market in the town and you are within reach of all the delights of Cornwall. Explore sandy beaches and secluded coves, or visit the unforgetable global garden of the Eden Project at Boldeva. Other places within easy reach to visit are the Lost Gardens of Heligan, where once-glorious and productive gardens have been brought back to life and the story is told
of the ordinary men and women who used to work in them. The Shipwreck & Heritage Centre, also in this area, has the largest private collection of Shipwreck and historical artefacts on public display in Europe.

Why not enjoy a ride on the Looe Valley Railway, one of Britain’s most scenic and unusual branches, starting from its own station in Liskeard. The journey takes you on an 8 mile, 25 minute journey along the scenic Looe Estuary, or on a rainy day you might want to take the family to Kidzworld Cornwall, one of the leading indoor adventure parks in Cornwall.

Whether you opt to stay on the park or go out to explore Cornwall, you’ll never be short of something to do at Hoburne Holiday Park Doublebois.
