Situated by the sea in Kidwelly, this resort offers accommodation in static caravans of five grades, from Bronze up to Platinum, or in three grades of self-catering chalets. Up to two pets can stay in the Bronze caravans only, with an extra charge per pet.

There’s a shop on the park where you can get all your essential needs, or you can also visit the Food Choice Takeaway to save cooking. The Boathouse Restaurant serves tasty meals and has a terrace for you to relax with a drink in the evenings. That’s if you aren’t enjoying the entertainment laid on at the Waterfront Showbar, which includes cabaret, thrilling family shows, games and competitions.

During the day The kids will have a great time in the indoor pool, on the crazy golf course, playing one of the oversized versions of games like Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four and Giant Twister, or joining in the fun with Sparky’s Crew.

This resort is within easy reach of many places to explore locally, such as the quiet and peaceful Caldey Island, where you can buy perfume and chocolate made by the Cistercian monks who still live there, or Pembery Country Park, in Llanelli, to wander in almost five hundred acres of parkland overlooking Carmarthen Bay.

Folly Farm Adventure Park, near Tenby, combines meeting farm animals with a zoo, an indoor funfair and other play areas, both indoor and outdoor or at the National Wetlands Centre you can spot dragonflys and birds like the little egret.

Carmarthen Town has a good selection of interesting shops to browse in for some retail therapy, or why not enjoy a round of golf on the eighteen hole Carmarthen Golf Club, set among some of the choicest Welsh countryside?
On the western side of Carmarthen Bay, Tenby is well worth a visit, for its beautiful beach and water sports, and for the historical, walled town, with plenty of eating places and nightlife.

Carmarthenshire is known as the garden of Wales and it is home to the National Botanic Garden of Wales, with the largest single-span greenhouse in the world, lakeside walks, walled gardens, Japanese garden, ponds and pond dipping, play area and children’s zoo.
